Quinza is a talented textile artist, producing stunning embroidery work. She also works in print and digital illustration, and gains much inspiration through her love of horror films and spiders.
In 2022 Quinza collaborated with artist Kirsty Marsh, a Venture Arts volunteer and freelance textiles designer. Kirsty took Quinza’s drawings and produced a repeated pattern piece using Adobe Illustrator. Quinza then embroidered on to the pattern, creating a new textile artwork.
“I love making art, it makes me feel calm and relaxed, just like how I feel in ‘Dreaming in Wonderland’, I’m taking a nap in nature”.
