The Manchester Contemporary invites the most exciting international and UK studios and galleries to participate, showcasing the strength of the UK’s regional artists. Come and find us at stand 133 and see what’s been happening in our Narratives residency.

“Narratives: The Julie Sessions,” is a collaborative residency takeover and part of our Conversations Series. Artists from Venture Arts, and other artists selected by open call, have worked alongside each other since April this year, exploring cultural heritage and personal influences and stories.

This dynamic project is run with support from partners; Ahmed Iqbal Ullah Race Relations Resource Centre, Castlefield Gallery, Explorers Project, The Lowry and Manchester Jewish Museum.

This WIP presentation is on show exclusively for The Manchester Contemporary 2022 and the full project exhibition will launch at the Lowry in January 2023.

Tickets for The Manchester Contemporary can be booked directly at their website here.
