Venture Arts are delighted to announce that city centre Bruntwood space – Manchester One, will host the final exhibition to complete their PERSPECTIVES series – a variety of exhibitions, happenings and creative exchanges proudly presented by Venture Arts, a visual arts organisation who support and nurture the work and careers of learning disabled artists.
Artworks displaying themes around collections that have been developed over the last two years will be celebrated through a variety of media including, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media, photography and textile pieces. Highlights include the work by multidisciplinary artist Terry Williams and his grainy black and white photographs documenting times gone by and holiday memories, that capture his sense of northern nostalgia. Ahmed Mohammed, who found success at The Manchester Contemporary 2017 selling his first exhibited triptych, will display abstract family portraits, new vivacious and densely layered oil pastel works. Horace Lindezey also shares his enthralling fascination with weddings, and everything associated with them, across clay, embroidery and photomontage.
