Venture Arts showcase learning-disabled artists at Manchester Contemporary Art Fair The Manchester Contemporary
Thank you to everyone who visited Venture Arts Presents…at The Manchester Contemporary where we showcased artists from supported studios across the UK including Project Ability and ActionSpace this weekend. We had an eventful weekend and enjoyed meeting and sharing the work with so many people.
We are very proud of all the participating artists; Barry Anthony Finan, Luca Agathogli, Robert Dixon, Jennie Franklin, David James, Cameron Morgan (Project Ability), Ahmed Mohammed and Andrew Omoding (ActionSpace).
Special thanks to emerging co-curators James Desser and Tom Emery who did a spectacular job at curating the show. We are so proud of artists Ahmed Mohammed (Venture Arts) and Cameron Morgan (Project Ability) who sold their work on the opening night! We’ll be updating our website with images and a round up of the fair soon.
If you missed the event you can read a great round up of the featured artwork and overview of the stand by Joe Turnball, Disability Arts Online – HERE
