Art Work
Our Work
Our artistic programme provides a positive space for learning disabled people to make high quality art. Open 6 days a week we offer 20 inclusive arts sessions per week led by professional artists. Our programme is developed for all abilities and interests providing a variety of subjects and mediums aimed at giving each participant new progressive experiences of art and the creative process.
Our fully accessible art studio is based in Hulme, close to Manchester city centre. The studio has a fun, welcoming and social atmosphere and is stimulating place to learn and perfect artistic talents. It features a dark room, digital photographic and video equipment, a kiln, print-making facilities and specialist textiles equipment. Artists use iMacs, MacBooks and iPads as well as professional editing software such as Photoshop and AfterEffects.
Our creative sessions led by our highly experienced professional artists include; Photography, Textiles, Illustration, Animation, 3D, Mixed Media, Ceramics and Art as Environment. Our daily adults studio sessions are for ages 18-80.
We believe in exploring creative ideas and learning artistic skills in a contemporary and progressive way to help artists identify and develop their own independent creative practise.
