Art Work
Our Work
We’re committed to enabling learning disabled people to be a part of the wider cultural life of our community and the visual arts world.
Over the years our work has been seen by thousands of people in high profile venues such as; The Lowry, Bury Art Museum, Manchester Art Gallery, Whitworth Art Gallery, Charlie Smith London, Royal Exchange Theatre, People’s History Museum, Chorlton Arts Festival, The Manchester Contemporary, DaDaFest, Project Ability, BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, Gateshead, The International Summit for Learning Disabled Artists and Their Supporting Studios, Glasgow and many more. Our artists have exhibited in major exhibitions nationally and internationally and have sold work to art collectors.
Sessions run every week day from:
10.00 am – 12.00 pm
1.00pm – 3.00pm
If you are interested in the workshops for a child or young person under the age of 19, we also offer children and Young People’s Art Clubs on a Wednesday afternoon from 3:30pm to 6pm and on a Saturday morning from 10am to 12:30pm. Find more information here.
All our art projects focus on inclusion so it really doesn’t matter if you have no experience of art… or if you would like to perfect your skills … or have a go at something new! We will always get you doing work which you will see exhibited in some brilliant places too!
