Original Artwork - Limited Edition Screen Print by Alison Scott: The Gardener
Alison Scott is a screen printer based at Hot Bed Press in Salford. Over the last ten years she has exhibited work at art galleries and print fairs throughout the North West either individually or as a member of Reveal Printmakers Collective. She has had work selected for the RA Summer Show and the RE Printmakers exhibitions in London. Alison is very proud to be one of the volunteers at Venture Arts.
Her work is an observational depiction of the everyday predicaments of age and youth, social interactions and situations – the general struggle, confusion and joy of life in the world of people.
This print is a 6 layer limited edition screen print. It shows the never ending battle between the gardener determined to create order and perfection, and the unruly band of natures rebels nervously awaiting their fate.
There are just 25 prints available, created in partnership with Hot Bed Press. Each print comes with a certificate of authenticity. Proceeds raised from sales of these prints will go towards the purchase of new printmaking equipment for the Venture Arts studio.
The prints are on 300gsm Canaletto professional screen printing paper and measure 40 x 50cm.
Delivered inside a cello bag, flat packed in cardboard (Royal Mail medium parcel), or collect from our reception.
