Happening in the Performance Space area of Delaine Le Bas: Un-Fair-Ground at The Whitworth, this creative session invites you to explore drawing as performance, movement and self-expression. Leslie’s art is currently exhibited within the show, and this workshop offers a unique opportunity to experience his practice first-hand – and create your own piece.

The session will run at a relaxed pace and will be supported by Venture Arts facilitator Thomas Yuen, ensuring an inclusive and welcoming environment for all participants.

Leslie Thompson has been a studio artist at Venture Arts for over thirty years. He has exhibited widely across the UK and internationally, and his work is held in significant public and private collections. During this session at The Whitworth, Leslie will be working in the space – sharing his influences and creative process.
