BIG NEWS! Venture Arts are finalists in the Manchester Culture Awards
We're incredibly excited to announce that Venture Arts are officially finalists for the Manchester Culture Awards in both Promotion of Talent and Leadership & Promotion of Equality & Diversity categories! Thank you to everyone who kindly nominated us, this really means so much to us and to be recognised for the work we do, we wouldn't be able to do it without the amazing and inspiring work of our participants, the support of our volunteers, donors and funders. We're keeping our fingers crossed for the final results! Watch this space... More about the Manchester Culture Awards: Manchester City Council asked you to nominate people, groups and organisations who made culture buzz in Manchester during April 2017 to April 2018. What do we mean by culture? For these awards the organisation, individual or group that you are nominating must be involved in the promotion of the arts including Museum, Heritage, Visual Art, Music, Theatre and Performance, Dance, Film and Broadcast Media, Literature, Digital Art, Photography or Craft. Nominees must be based in the City of Manchester (not Greater Manchester) or have a track record of delivering activity for the benefit of the people who live in or visit the city, or that benefits the local economy. The top three nominees in each category will be invited to a prestigious dinner in November, where the winners will be announced and everyone will have a great night out!
