As part of our Learning Disability Week celebrations, we held a photography competition.
Open to all, the only stipulation for the competition was that the photograph had to be taken outside. We had a stunning selection of entries, varying wildly in subject and style. Thanks so much to all who entered. After some serious deliberation we managed to shortlist the entries down to our top five.
Congratulations to Emlyn Scott for being our overall winner – with his photo, ‘Pigeon’. Emlyn will receive a card, Venture Arts bag and a framed print of this winning photo.
We also selected four ‘highly commended’ runners up, who will all receive cards and Venture Arts bags. They were:
Sally Hirst, ‘Trees’
Liam Ashworth, ‘I have the power’
Michelle Long, Nana’s 90th’
Laura Nathan, ‘Tree rings’
Thank you to everyone who entered, it was wonderful to see a small slice of your lockdown lives.
