A5 Full colour photography zine; The Sentinels

James Desser and Jeffrey Knopf have been working collaboratively exploring contemporary space-age worlds via model design and 3D print. The practices of the two artists are unearthing new creatures, bending time, building mythical layers of sci-fi history and the creation of objects that act as testament to events. We find robots languishing in nature as though left behind from a futuristic battle centuries before.

The project is part of Venture Arts’ Co-Lab series funded by ArtFund. CoLab Series was set up in 2023 with a flexible, agile and outward-facing approach to commissioning artists; a platform for exploring practice in collaboration. Venture Arts ensures that learning disabled artists are represented and included in visual arts alongside other artists.
