Florence
Florence is a talented textile artist practicing at Venture Arts in Manchester. Her work is inspired by her family and the personal experiences she shares with them, such as theatre trips and memorable outings.
Her previous work includes Birds and Flowers, which was exhibited at Chetham’s School of Music and the Manchester International Festival in 2025.
In 2025, Florence collaborated with children and young people, teaching them how to create their own textile houses for a commission with Light Night Wigan and Illuminate Oldham. Through these projects, she has shared her creative skills to help young participants produce a series of illuminated textile houses, which were showcased at each festival.
