Catherine McEvoy works using print, 3D printing and ceramics. By using objects to hit tracing paper overlaid on carbon paper, Catherine creates sharp marks and indentations. The black and grey marks lifted from the carbon sit on raised scars from the scuffs forced onto the tracing paper. The results are exquisitely topographical 3D images, as though mountains have been importantly photographed from the air.
Commissions
