Horace Lindezey’s ceramic blue plaques have returned to London, this time to The Gallery of Everything in Marylebone, to be part of The Departed, a multigenerational investigation into the land beyond the living. Featuring artists and makers, both known and unknown, the exhibition celebrates those who have memorialised their loved and forgotten over the last 250 years.
Such an exhibition would not be complete without Horace’s blue plaques, made to celebrate the lives of people that have been close to him during this life, or whom he has enjoyed watching or listening to on the TV and radio.
Other works on display include the obituary art of David A Holt, the vintage psychic portraits of Sidney A Macdonold, the finger-guided visions of acclaimed Czech medium Frantisek Jaroslav Pecka, the seance photography of Shannon Taggart and found objects from the archive of the Gallery of Everything.
