Taking place at the Metropolitan Pavilion from January 17-20, 2019, in it's 27th edition, Jennifer Lauren Gallery will be championing and exhibiting the visionary works by a selection of self-taught and overlooked artists who create art outside of the mainstream art world and art history. Featured artists from across the globe will include Nek Chand, Chris Neate, Valerie Potter, Robert Fischer and works by Japanese artists Shinichi Sawada and drawings never been sold before by Normimitsu Kokubo.   If you're lucky enough to be at the event then make sure you check out her booth no. 30!   This year's fair will feature two curated spaces. One of them, titled “Good Kids: Underground Comics from China” and co-organized by the Noguchi Museum’s Brett Littman and Yi Zhou, a partner at Beijing’s C5Art Gallery, will be focused on zines and drawings by artists from that country. The second, curated by art critic Edward M. Gómez, will be dedicated to the late dealer Phyllis Kind, a mainstay of the fair who died earlier this year.   More information about Jennifer Lauren Gallery and artists More information about Outsider Art Fair and Exhibitors READ | Raw Vision Magazine - Phyllis Kind Gallery - End of an Era
