Ahmed Mohammed - Postcard Collection

A collection of two postcards, featuring abstract prints created by Ahmed Mohammed.

Ahmed Mohammed has a compulsion to draw which involves a cyclical gestural drawing process. Since attending Venture Arts he has discovered his artistic identity and developed a creative practice which spans textile art, printmaking, ceramics, drawing, and multimedia.

In his printmaking pieces Ahmed creates bright blocks of colours that he gives titles such as Chicken Drumstick, Chicken Burger or Ice Cream and Spoon. All of his work incorporates bold and assertive mark-making in a spectrum of colours.

These beautiful postcards have been kindly produced by The Whitworth Art Gallery, as part of our long standing cultural partnership. You can find full sized versions of these prints in their shop, with 50% of their print profits donated to Venture Arts.
