Andrew Johnstone
Zine; There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly
Andrew Johnstone works in a careful, precise and deliberate way – a style that shines through in any medium he chooses. He has taken to textiles, ceramics, printing and drawn media, often-depicting animals, transport and self-portraits, with a specific reference to 80s and 90s television shows and idents.
This zine features Andrew's illustrations of the poem 'There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly', with the lines of the rhyme handwritten around each drawing. Andrew also produced the below animation of his zine where you can listen to him reading the poem.
