Artworks Together International Exhibition

Venture Arts studio artist Michael Nash has been selected for the ArtWorks Together International Exhibition at Sheffield Millennium Gallery, a major showcase committed to raising the profile of artists who remain significantly underrepresented within the visual arts sector.

Michael’s work Lagoon was created during his British Council Venice Fellowship at the Venice Biennale 2024, supported by British Council Arts. The piece has also been shortlisted for the Environmental Impact Award (winner to be announced on 12 February), recognising its powerful engagement with environmental themes.

The exhibition brings together an ambitious and vibrant collection of contemporary work spanning painting, photography, sculpture, film and mixed media, exploring urgent social, political, environmental and cultural themes. Featuring artists from across the UK and around the world, ArtWorks Together celebrates innovation and artistic excellence while challenging perceptions about whose voices are valued in the visual arts.
