Beverley Doughty is an artist/printmaker working and living in the Greater Manchester area specialising in producing work that relates to screenprinting processes.
A longstanding member of Hot Bed Press, her practice explores how religious imagery, decoration, and everyday ornament shape our sense of beauty. Working through photography print and collage, she reworks found and forgotten objects questioning what we choose to value, preserve, or overlook. Her prints examine how images circulate and how meaning shifts through repetition, layering, and reconstruction.
Beverley has shown her work in various exhibitions and Art Fairs across England, including the Directors Cut Woolwich Print Show, the Small But Mighty Show at the Royal Society of Printmakers Gallery in London, and the Royal Birmingham Society of Arts Summer Show. She is also a regular exhibitor on the Hot Bed Press stand at the Manchester Art Fair.
