A4 Print by Ahmed Mohammed

This A4 Print is a reproduction of Ahmed Mohammed's Untitled screen print, in red, navy and pale blue.

Ahmed works in a purely abstract way, in his large scale works he uses oil sticks to intuitively create expressive expanses of colour and form. In his printmaking pieces he creates bright blocks of colours that he gives titles such as Chicken Drumstick, Chicken Burger or Ice Cream and Spoon. All of his work incorporates bold and assertive mark-making in a spectrum of colours.

The original stencil print in red, navy and pale blue was part of a series created by Ahmed, as part of a project with Factory International. The project employed several Venture Arts artists, working to create designs for an accessible chill-out space at Aviva Studios. Ahmed's print series showcases his distinctive abstract shapes in a slightly more muted colour palette to his usual bright designs.

This reproduction has been professionally printed on Monte-Carlo 300gsm paper and comes in a cello bag with board backing. There is a white border to the print, with the artwork details printed in the bottom centre.
