Leslie has been based at Venture Arts studios for over 30 years. He uses paint, ink or ceramics to illustrate his life, his past, his family, growing up in Moss Side in the 70s and 80s, entire film sequences and a rich variety of animals, all from memory.

This A3 print features Leslie's detailed illustrations of an Amur Tiger. One side shows a full colour illustration, whilst the other side is black and white. Created as part of the 'Animal Project' and inspired by a trip to Knowsley Safari park. Annotated and signed by the artist: 'The Good Drawer Leslie Thompson, The Great Arts Superstar'.
