Emelia Hewitt

A4 Print; Emelia Hewitt; Untitled (Bee on Flowers)

£25.00

Limited Edition, A4 Print by Emelia Hewitt

This A4 Print is a reproduction of a photo taken by Emelia using an analogue camera and macro lens. The photo was printed in a dark room using a nettle developer and a salt fix. The resulting black and white image shows a bee on white flowers.

Emelia is an exciting emerging artist based at Venture Arts with a strong practice using intricate and innovative photographic methods, manipulating digital and analogue images, narratives and histories.

As one of three Venture Arts artists selected to exhibit at the British Textile Biennial 2025, Emelia has completed a summer residency at the Whitaker museum in Rawtenstall. Emelia explored the museum’s natural forms using anthotype printing and natural dyes, creating innovative images while reducing photographic chemicals.

Please note, this print is supplied unmounted and unframed. It will be posted via Royal Mail in a hardbacked envelope, or collect for free from our studio.
