Artists
Dominic Pillai
Dominic participated in 'Conversations Series III: Narratives' and worked in collaboration with musician Alice Merida Richards and Venture Arts artist Horace Lindezey.
Dominic Pillai is a multidisciplinary artist working across film, sound and the written word. He has showcased work at Cannes Film Festival, Tate Liverpool, Folkestone Triennial and BBC 6 Music. Through his creative practice, Dominic often explores themes of cultural identity, memory and sensory experience. Trained as a visual anthropologist, he is passionate about accessibility, diversity and innovation within the arts.
Dominic participated in Conversations Series III: Narratives, which exhibited at The Lowry. Working alongside visual artist Horace Lindezey and musician Alice Merida Richards, he made ‘Falling (Reggae Version)’, a David Lynch inspired music video, drawing on Horace’s Afro- Caribbean heritage and made in tribute to the original singer Julee Cruise and composer Angelo Badalamenti who both passed away in 2022.
